Cherry Moon - The 5th Compilation verscheen in 1996 en laat horen hoe de sound van de legendarische Belgische club Cherry Moon zich verder ontwikkelde. Waar eerdere delen vooral draaiden om rauwe techno en acid, biedt deze jubileumeditie een bredere mix van hard trance, progressive trance, techno en hardcore. Daarmee vormt deze uitgave een mooi overzicht van de muzikale richting die de Belgische clubs halverwege de jaren '90 insloegen.

Deze dubbel-cd bevat tracks van onder andere The Mackenzie feat. Jessy, Commander Tom, Yves Deruyter, Marco Bailey, Lemon 8, Metro Dade en Push. Daarnaast is de tweede cd uitgevoerd als Enhanced CD, waardoor deze naast de muziek ook extra multimedia-inhoud bevat voor gebruik op een computer.
